Saint Veronica

Veronica followed Christ to Calvary on his was to be crucified, and wiped his face after he fell under the weight of the cross.  Miraculously, the image of his face remained on the cloth.  

While Veronica is never seen without the cloth, the cloth itself appears alone in many images.
